Location, room size and convenience of everything in the area. Hotel is dark-needs more lights inside. More of old hotel vibe but best breakfast on our travels.

The room a/c was shut off and the staff advised that they do it during cold season. The room was stuffy and not in a good area so because of this our 4 night booking became 2 nights. We have too look for another hotel.

Location is great - right next to Shin Kobe station - don’t worry you can’t hear a thing -
Also right next to cable car to the herb garden -a must do trip
Good access to shops restaurants
Liked the hotel tea lounge
Did not like smell of smoking in corridors / room
