Lovely hotel, staff exceptional cannot fault anything will most certainly stay here again, if I am working in the area, highly recommend

We came back to the W as a family this time. We had connecting track view rooms on the Marina side which also came with an accessible room for smooth disabled facilities. Staff were amazing as always from the valets, security, reception, concierge, breakfast, gym to the housekeeping staff. Everyone deserves credit for the hospitality and efficient service they provide at one of the busiest times of the year. They helped create a welcoming atmosphere at all times for groups of all ages. I’d asked for an extra single bed to be provided in one room and it wasn’t picked up from our wishlist (all the other items were though) but was brought up within 20mins despite it being 3am. We stayed over NYE so got to see the Yas Fireworks at the Etihad Arena from our room. There was music till the early hours which got a bit noisy for the kids but expected due to the branding vibe of the hotel. The window do keep some of the noise from the track and overhead planes out but this is not the place to stay if you want total tranquility for the duration of your stay. Great location for the Yas theme parks and only 1hr from Dubai Marina by car. For those wishing to get tickets to the parks, there is are discounted tickets for Person of Determination and an accompanying adult available from the parks. My daughter went on many of the rides at Warner Bros despite some concern about being denied access raised by other posts online. We didn’t get to run/cycle on the track as TrainYas was not open o

The water pressure in the room was very low. The shower had no hot water. Everything else was excellent.

This was my first stay at this hotel and I was happy with the choice. I arrived slightly earlier than check in time and they arranged for my room to be ready earlier. The rooms and bathroom are a good size. Housekeeping and all staff are very polite friendly. There is a good sized pool with a large number of sun beds and then opposite there is the option of the beach as well. With other hotels you sometimes have to walk a bit of a distance but with this hotel they are right next to each other so you can easily hop onto whichever you prefer. If you are going to be doing lots of sightseeing it is not very close to the main attractions which was fine with me however you will need to factor in journey time and costs as well if that's what you are intend to do a lot of. I did eat a lunch and supper at the restaurant on one occasion and though it is a good choice from the buffet I think it was a bit on the expensive side for what it was. If you took a taxi and went to one of the closer malls both the return taxi ride journey and your plethora of choices of restaurants at the mall would most likely end up being cheaper than paying for either lunch or dinner at the restaurant. Decent choice for the breakfast buffet as well with friendly hospitality staff. I used the spa once and I would recommend it. They also have a jacuzzi and sauna. It is in a separate building however they do provide a golf cart service to and from the hotel if you prefer not to walk. Staff that I had contac
