Average view from our balcony as we were at the side. Looked like permanent residents in other buildings. Shower pressure was not very high. Room was smaller than looked on website and we were upgraded!! No high definition tv, so won't get any channel 7 etc. Need new pillows, so soft and flat. There is a great Thai restaurant downstairs in hotel ,beautiful meals and you get 10% off for staying at hotel. The Lady we had at the reception was very welcoming, greeted us beautifully and was very helpful. So was a couple of nice thing's, but room was very very average.

We stayed over the new year period. It was very expensive for the quality of the rooms. We had two rooms located on level 3, right next to the pool. It was very noisy with people yelling in the pool/ gym area during the evening. Housekeeping didn't clean our room every morning. We had to ask on two separate days for them to provide us for a third towel, even though they could see the rollaway bed in the room. The bedroom is in the middle of the layout, which means no direct windows to the outside, so can feel a little crammed in. The staff at reception were very friendly and assisted us with the parking as our hire car wasn't going to fit in the provided hotel carpark anyway. It's not the easiest of carparks to navigate, and we had to walk through the construction link between the two oaks hotels. We had to extend one of our hotel rooms until the evening, as one of our guests were sick. Reception did this no problem. The hotel is located on the outskirts of the city, but not too far of a walk into the main area of the city with shops and cafes. Our rooms were facing the convention centre, which did mean that on new years eve, we had views of the fire works. Hotel is a bit outdated. Overall, it's not my first choice, and I don't think i would recommend people to stay here.

Staff were kind upon arrival. Took bags from car. But had to use stairs two flights to get from car. Long lift waits. Pool area looks like a scene out of an 80’s horror movie. Good location for city stay but could use some upgrades that’s for sure. Beds were pretty old and uncomfortable. Room service maid had no understanding of English when asked to come back in 15 Musca I was naked at the door. Moved to another hotel Grand chancellor after 2 nights.

Really happy with the hotel stay. The location, cleanliness, ambience, food - all perfect. Most importantly the staff particularly Tabish (if I got her name correct !) at the front office was extremely professional and suave. The only downside was that phone service through iPad wasn’t connecting which impacted the service response times. Minor issue though and am sure ephemeral. In a nutshell, definitely the best accomodation option in Adelaide
