We absolutely loved at stay at Chateau Star, it was more then what we expected. Breakfast buffet was exceptional. Staff were friendly and helped as much as they could given language barrier, really only had 1 staff member who spoke English which was great as we weren't proficient with the translation apps immediately. Rooms were clean and we were super comfortable. There were plenty of restaurants and cafes, along with sone corner stores a short walk away. We will definitely be staying there again.

This hotel is located very conveniently near the Qingdao metro station Yan'er Dao Lu. It's an older style but I always find it really comfortable. It's also close to where I can meet with friends to go for cheap breakfasts, lunches etc. My room on the 35th floor was really spacious and the cleaning staff were great. My pen happened to run out of ink while I was writing my diary and the cleaner gave me hers. Front desk staff were also helpful and I will certainly come back when I am next in Qingdao, which will be soon I hope.
