The property is beautiful and the staff all very nice. The rooftop bar was a nice surprise. On our last night there were some guests that were loud but besides that, it was a great experience.

Quiet yet well located close to the beach and shopping areas. The staff was great (they always checked with us when was a convenient time for them to clean the room or perform turn down evening service) and the vibe was just right! (Loved the artwork!) Tried the spa too and thoroughly enjoyed the massages.. will be back for sure!

We had a wonderful stay at MAAR Resort and truly enjoyed every moment. The resort offers beautiful views, a peaceful ambience, and a relaxing atmosphere that made our vacation even more special. A special thanks to Krisna and the other team members at Cantina Classe Restaurant, who were incredibly friendly, attentive, and ensured we had a great dining experience throughout our stay. The food and service were excellent. We would also like to thank the reception team for their warm welcome and seamless assistance, as well as the resort drivers, who were always punctual, courteous, and made getting around the resort easy and enjoyable. The Floating Breakfast, Romantic Dinner, and our treatment at Svaha Spa were all exceptional experiences and among the highlights of our stay. The spa was incredibly relaxing, and the therapists provided a wonderful experience that left us feeling completely refreshed. Everything was thoughtfully arranged and added a special touch to our vacation. In fact, every member of the resort staff was warm, welcoming, and always greeted us with a smile, making us feel right at home. Thank you to the entire team at MAAR Resort for your outstanding hospitality. We highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with beautiful surroundings, excellent service, and unforgettable experiences. We hope to visit again in the future!

The Royal Pita Maha was a beautiful hotel with landscaping like a botanical garden. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend staying at this fantastic hotel.

This is one of the best properties to stay in Bali, if not the best. The rooms are fabulous: spacious, with high ceilings, huge beds with good quality pillows and covers, fluffy large towels, and good quality soaps and shampoos replaced daily. They also provide plenty of water, small treats and fruit baskets. The common areas are clean and well maintained, with a large infinity pool and a flowing ‘river’ that takes guests around in tubes. The restaurant serves a varied menu with dishes from both local and European cuisine. The staff is very helpful and accommodating, ready to serve and meet all your needs. All in all, Dumitra is the place to stay in Bali.

The perfect hotel for your stay in Ubud. It is a little further away from the main centre, however, the peaceful quiet atmosphere is absolutely worth it. The hotel is stunning, with multiple pools viewing the rice terraces. It is the perfect place to relax, have spa treatment, and do fun activities. The breakfast was delicious, had plenty options for guests with any dietary requirements, and I’m sure it was all pork free too. Staff is very kind and friendly, ensuring the stay is problem free. I would watch out for the local taxi drivers outside the hotel entrance, they turned away 1 of my grab drivers and claimed grab is not allowed here. Make sure to text drivers to arrive at the hotel lobby instead of entrance.

The property was absolutely beautiful! The room we stayed in blew our minds! So spacious and modern amidst the backdrop of an ancient Balinese temple. The property has a pool, gym, restaurant, shop, and an impressive 4 floor museum! What made the stay 5 stars was the staff. They were all so pleasant and extremely helpful. Two particular staff members, Putra and Gusde, made us feel like family! We will never forget them! If you are planning a trip to Bali, stay here! You won’t regret it!

From the moment we arrived, the service and genuine warmth from the team across every department really stood out. Everyone was welcoming, attentive and friendly. The resort itself is beautiful, with stunning grounds that are so well maintained. The little touches really make a difference too — even the squirrel feeding was such a fun touch! 🐿️ And the breakfast… wow! There is an incredible selection, with so many options that you could easily stay for a week and still want to try something different each morning. Overall, this has been such a wonderful stay. It’s clear a lot of thought goes into the guest experience here, and from someone who works in resort management, I really appreciate when a property gets all the little things right. We are absolutely staying here again and have no hesitation recommending this resort. ❤️

It was our first time in Bali, and this resort made it an unforgettable experience. The service team—Linda, Ciara, Deisy, Chica, and all the other staff—were incredibly polite, professional, and attentive. The breakfast was excellent, and the yoga sessions and morning walks were wonderful experiences. Everything exceeded our expectations, and we would definitely love to come back!
