This hotel is close to the Kloten Balsberg train station. 10 min walk from the train station. Similar distance from the tram station as well. The property is well maintained. The airport shuttle was quite convenient. You need to pre-book it.

Shuttle from airport difficult to get

First class hotel with excellent facilities. Good location close to a tram stop. Wonderful selection at breakfast. Thoughtful little things like free ice lollies during the heat wave which coincided with our stay. The staff were particularly helpful.

The room was spacious and very clean. The beds were comfortable. My daughters love the head shower.

The service is inconsistent. There were days when our room was cleaned and there was a day when it wasn't. The day when the room wan't cleaned created a lot of difficulty as we have to do multiple calls to ask for basic things like fresh towels and toilet paper. It made our last day preparing for the flight needlesly exhausting. The focus on the design without thinking about usability is absurd. Why is there a need for a bathtub in the middle of the bathroom while having a separate shower and toilet that shares a sliding door? The doors between the toilet and shower are see through- No privacy. Then there's this vault like clunky cabinet that holds the safe, fridge and kettle, it's taking up so kuch space and blocks a lot of room when it's in use.

The hotel is close to the airport. The rooms are clean and adequate. Staff could be more helpful in helping with transportation. We told them what our plans were. No one mentioned the tram is literally 1 block away.
