Great location. Nice view but limited to higher paying clients. Even for breakfast, they seat you in areas without view if you are in regular rooms. It was difficult to get the radisson rewards to work.

First time in London, we wanted to stay somewhere nice and close to the sites by walking, but also gave us a chance to explore the more laid back areas. This had a good location, great service, very helpful staff, very fancy room and clean comfortable bed. Thought about staying longer, I'd definitely stay again.

Everything you would expect from the Shangri-La. Great service, great rooms. The Shard is a unique building. It is iconic. The views of London are unparalleled. Really enjoy staying on South Bank. Easy access to everything via the London Bridge tube station.

The room was great! The staff was helpful, although for a minute at the front desk they couldn't find my reservation. I was able to check in a few hours early because there was a room already available. They came while we were out that same day and made up the couch as a bed for our kids to sleep on. The only thing about the room was that although there was a closet right in front of the door for coats and such, there wasn't a dresser in the room to store our clothes in so we just kept our suitcases open on the floor to grab stuff out of. The water pressure in the shower was AMAZING.

The hotel itself is in great condition and the location felt very safe, even when walking around late at night. Unfortunately, we experienced a couple of disappointing issues with the staff. When we returned to the hotel after midnight, we found the front door locked, even though we had been told at check-in that the entrance would remain open 24 hours. We had to ring the doorbell repeatedly and wait quite a while before someone came to the door. When staff finally appeared, they asked how they could help us, and we had to explain that we were guests staying at the hotel. Another frustrating experience happened early in the morning when housekeeping staff were working in the corridor. They were extremely loud while moving equipment and cleaning the room next door, which woke us up. The noise level was surprisingly high and made it difficult to rest.
