Location was between the castle and the gardens. Lounge was not as nice as expected. Served the same snacks and breakfast each day. Very limited drinks (no soft drinks ) . Only one selection of sake and it was very sweet. Udon at breakfast was tasty . Lounge staff was nice.

Kotohira Onsen Onyado Shikishimakan was 1 of about 8 hotels we stayed at over about
2 weeks in Japan. While all the places we stayed were good, this was the best. Their onsen is outstanding as were the meals. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone who wants to experience the Real Japan!
