I had reserved a city-view room, but when I arrived, I was placed in a room without a city view. When I inquired at the front desk, a lady who appeared to be of Indian descent responded rudely, stating that she couldn't switch my room because there were no studio rooms available with a city view. When I asked to speak to the manager, she went to check, and ultimately, I was moved to a city-view room. It is unfortunate and disappointing that the staff was unwilling to accommodate my request as a customer.

No better place if you have deep pickets or want to celebrate a special occassion in thr finest of style.

The hotel is in a great location on the river and everything is of a good standard. The room was modern and spacious. It was very clean. I had room service a couple of times. I asked for the automatic service charges to be removed at checkout. That was no problem. However they still appear to be on the receipt so I am going to have to query that which is annoying.

Nice and clean hotel with great location. Over priced as rooms and bathroom are not up to Taj mark

Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Hotel is definitely dated, but price reflects that compared to the city center. Staff was very kind. Coffee, restaurants and tune station within 10 min walk.

Great hotel close to Kensington High Street with a pool and a sauna . Breakfast was excellent

Lovely traditional style hotel, very friendly helpful staff. Not our usual style/design chosen for a hotel but it is lovely if you want archetypical English. Great Breakfast (included), wide choice and all served, no buffet…which is a lovely change but as soon as it got busy it slowed to not receiving a coffee for 20 min wait- then you’re charged service for your free breakfast - a small glitch in an otherwise lovely stay.
