Torrens Island Ski Holidays

Simple, nice hotel with a library, business room and laundry for guests. Great location and clean rooms. Breakfast wasn't worth adding but plenty of restaurants and places to eat nearby.

The room was massive, the furniture could have been placed a little more imaginatively but that was a style thing. The bed was comfortable. Lots of hot water. The kitchenette was functional. Rm 43 needs a little bit of love re the mixer tap, and the carpet is threadbare in one spot. The hotel is large, the bar can be a little noisy at the beginning of the night, but then as the night progresses our room was very quiet and looked out into the courtyard. The restaurant serves a very good breakfast and the hotel staff are all professional and friendly. The hotel is in walking distance of most of the cities attractions, and if you don’t fancy walking the tram and bus stops are close by.

A full Rubbish bag was left in our room on top of the mini bar. The pool is tiny and was absolute chaos. The car park is not that close (2 blocks over) and at night you will have to walk through the homeless camped at the base of the car park building which was pretty confronting with small kids in tow. No complimentary water provided in the rooms. Too many things to make this a less then average place to stay. Had to ask about the parking process and they charge you double if you want valet. Given the amount of homeless people around the hotel and the distance the parking actually is it should be provided for guest safety.

Room was very spacious, very clean & well equipped. Closely located to streets with lots of restaurants to choose from. A very relaxing & enjoyable night!
