Room temperature was not adjustable and too warm. Had to keep window open. No electrical outlet in bathroom.

We had a lovely stay at House of Ble. The space is very clean, tidy and beautifully designed, and the location is excellent, just a three-minute walk to the Museum Quarter. We visited the Kunsthistorisches Museum, Natural History Museum and the National Library, all of which were easily walkable from the hotel. We stayed during the last weekend of January and while it was very cold (around -5°C most days), the snow had mostly cleared, making it easy to get around on foot — just be sure to pack thermals and shoes with grip because the floors were still a little icy in places. The staff were genuinely lovely and very welcoming throughout our stay. The only reason for not giving a full five stars is a matter of personal preference around the room temperature. Heating is controlled by the hotel, and while it was nice coming back to a warm room after being outside, the temperature reached around 25°C at night which made sleeping uncomfortable. Air conditioning has to be requested each time and is limited, which felt a little clunky. The hotel has a restaurant which looks lovely, though we didn’t use it as it closes at 4pm. On our first night we arrived very tired and would have appreciated room service, but their restaurant was not open. There is, however, a small shop on the corner for water and essentials. Overall, a really pleasant stay in a great location, and we’d happily return.

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by lovely, friendly staff who checked us in straight away and gave us great recommendations, as it was our first time in Vienna. Our room was spotless and beautifully presented. We stayed in a studio-style room with a large, comfortable bed, sofa and a TV with access to streaming services such as Netflix and Prime. The kitchen area was extremely well equipped with a Smeg toaster and kettle, fridge, dishwasher, plates, cutlery, pots and pans — everything you could need to cook. There was also a coffee machine, plus black and green tea, and a small bottle of milk in the fridge which was a thoughtful touch. The bathroom was lovely, featuring a rainfall shower with an additional shower head, a large heated towel radiator, great shampoo, conditioner and body lotion, and a lit mirror. There were plenty of hangers and a safe; we had a small issue with this but reception arranged for it to be fixed immediately. We were visiting for my partner’s birthday and were surprised with a card, chocolates and a small bottle of prosecco, which was such a lovely gesture. Breakfast was à la carte and absolutely outstanding — the breakfast bap was genuinely the best breakfast we’ve ever had. The location was excellent, just one stop on the tram from St Stephen’s Cathedral or a short walk. We would 100% recommend this hotel.

I had a great stay at Imperial Riding School. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made the experience very enjoyable.
