Great location. Right next to the Karuizawa station, outlet and snowfields. Shuttle scheduled to come every 15-30 minutes to take you around the resort, outlet and other snow fields. Staying at resort also gives you discounted rates with the ski lifts and gear rental. Spacious room. Great for families.

All the above ! And the breakfast buffet is amazing super location ! The bay view is fantastic. And hotel is an easy drive to several good ski resorts. Plus there is shopping center attached. With a good gear store . If you forget to pack something? No worries

The staff and location are great, the onsen is also very nice. The guest rooms, like many in the older Niseko area are getting a little tired, especially for the price. The breakfast was fantastic, it changed significantly every day. I’ve stayed at Kanronomori (beside this), and Niseko Grand down the hill, this one might be my favourite. There’s also goats! They are the lawnmower crew in the summer, but hunker down in a shack in winter, coming out for hay on nice days. If you’re staying there, go say high and give some nose scratches!

Super relaxing, had all the amenities we needed, including on site ski rentals which saved our trip after our luggage was lost by the airlines.

Rooms are big and amenities are really great, free parking at hotel if you drive. Staff are helpful and friendly. Overall a great stay.

Rooms are dated but reasonably clean. I would describe the room as adequate. Buffet breakfast is a must as there’s no easy alternative. The variety of the food was good but the temperature of the hot food was always luke-warm. Dinner was a mission unless you want to spend $50 or $100 (AUD) per adult for buffet dinners at the respective wings. The clothes washing facilities free, but were atrocious. The dryers are not fit for purpose, which seems to be a theme in other reviews - take note and don’t wash anything you don’t have to or you’ll be spending hours monitoring the dryer. Don’t use the “60” setting as this doesn’t actually dry anything. The location is beautiful and access to lifts etc is amazing. Stay on the west wing if you want ready access to the kids play area. Beds are comfy - better than other “nicer” hotels I’ve stayed at in Japan. It’s a picturesque location and we enjoyed ourselves but it’s budget accomodation with no frills. As a suggestion for improvement, it would be nice if they provided bottled water ever day like every other hotel in Japan. Staff are friendly and helpful. Ski rental was easy if you book in advance.
