"A beautiful traditional hotel with amazing views and great service and in a fantastic location. The only downside was the unexpected bill at the end of our stay, you are obliged to have have board however this does not cover the daily evening meal menu, we had to pay a rather large supplement which was a bit of a shock. "Owners are extremely rude and extortioned our stay - threatened to remove my children with police. We pressed charges against the hotel with the local police. They accepted our money and reservation, checked us in and put our oersoanl belongings in the room. We went for dinner and upon returning at they locked us out of the room unless we paid an additional 1031 Euro for our stay!!! Horrible- clearly not their first rodeo "

"There are not enough stars to be able to sufficiently rate this spectacular hotel. It’s honestly a little piece of heaven. From the moment you check in to the moment you check out the staff at the resort are completely devoted to your every need. They truly go above and beyond. In fact other hotels should send their staff members to the recort to get trained on what good hospitality really looks like. You feel like a member of the family at the recort but in a luxurious setting. The room was spacious and well planned out. The food was an absolutely phenomenal. The wine list was extensive. The breakfasts were out of this world. The spa area was so very relaxing. My words don’t do this hotel justice. You just have to make the trek there to believe me. It is well worth the journey. "

"The woman at reception was incredibly helpful. The road to Selva was closed the following day and she found suitable public transit options and let me check in early. The hotel also prepared a box breakfast as I had to leave early the following day. Definitely far above and beyond what I expected. The hotel is beautiful and my room was spacious with a large shared patio. The pool and hot tub are in a stunning setting and I enjoyed a long nap in the solarium. I checked out the bar and enjoyed a Negroni sfogliati (sp?) which was a first (Prosecco instead of gin). Sold!!! The public shuttle made it easy to go into town. Loved my brief stay but I’ll be back. "What a charming place! The breakfast was splendid. We ate one night of dinner board there and the second across the street at the sister restaurant. Was great to have that variety. The only drawback to our stay was the constant church bells every 15 mins and the rooster in the mornings. Be aware that the bells ring until 11 pm and start at 7 am. Made it hard to go to bed early or nap at all. I know this isn’t in the control of the hotel. But in the summer when you need the door/windows open it’s something to consider or don’t forget the earplugs.
Another plus is the nice little yard areas to sit outside, have a drink, read a book. "
