“Amazing Greek Family own the Hotel. The views and beach access are incredible. The village has amazing restaurants as so does along the beach. The campground restaurant is fantastic. The Hotel is basic. Clean. Nothing fancy. We absolutely loved it. If you want to visit islands , this is too remote. But for a few days of paradise & relaxing… 100%. We will go back. We left feeling like family ! Coast road in beautiful…. But do not drive it night !!! ”

“Spent two nights at this lovely hotel located just outside of the main town area. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The hotel owner and staff were lovely. Very nice breakfast and pool area. We were very comfortable here. Do yourself a favor and book directly with the hotel. We booked a sea view room on hotels.com and paid more for those rooms. A seaview was not available, and the owner said all room rates are the same. The owner was great and I believed what she was saying. ”

“Hotel Avra is a no-frills, great-value hotel with a very acceptable restaurant right on the shore. It is 50m from a beach, 100m from the ferry dock and 150m from the most interesting part of Aegina town. And yet it is quiet with good insulation and a/c. The view from the balconies is as good as it gets and the location is superb. Elefteria is a friendly and helpful hostess and her staff are quietly efficient. There might be better Rooms on the island - but not for these prices.”

“Very friendly staff and a good location, but the rooms are not clean - specially the bathrooms. Everything was just falling apart. The shower was broken and we needed to flush the toilet ten times.... The breakfast was ok, but not good. We paid the same price for a five star hotel in Athen, and the standards are not comparable at any chance. I don’t recommend this hotel! ”

“Beautiful and tranquil setting. Our room was spacious with a large balcony and beautiful sea view. Some of the furnishings could use an update (ie: television). Angelica was a very warm hostess and her breakfast was delicious.”

“Δεν αξίζει ούτε για μία διανυκτέρευση. Τα δωμάτια μύριζαν μούχλα και ιδιαίτερα τα μπάνια ήταν χάλια... Παλιό κτίριο, κουραστικό, χωρίς ασανσέρ, με εξωτερική σκάλα για τα επάνω δωμάτια. Είμαστε 6μελής οικογένεια με 4 παιδιά. Ζητήσαμε δύο τρίκλινα και μας έδωσαν ένα δωμάτιο στο ισόγειο και ένα δύο ορόφους πιο πάνω. Ευτυχώς που κλείσαμε μόνο για ένα βράδυ. Δεν θα αντέχαμε να μείνουμε περισσότερο. Το μόνο θετικό, το πρωινό ήταν αξιοπρεπές για τα δεδομένα του.”
