「This was a good pic. One of the few hostels in front of the beach at Playa Cocles. Walking distance to public beaches, restaurants and stores. The staff was friendly. Food was somewhat pricey, though. However, the room was clean and a good value for what we paid for.」

「The jungle courtyard with so many exotic animals was a bonus.
Marise the owner gives everyone a tour to start. Clean, spacious, lots of towels, bag of the best CR Coffee, AC, fans, dishes, toaster, BBQ, burner and pots by pool area.very kind owners.
Restaurants very close and good selection of dishes. 1.6 km to bus station and town.」

「Casa Marbella is a great place to stay. It's centrally located, has scenic views of the cannal and is close to the national park. The upstairs bedrooms on the cannal side are the best rooms.」

This boutique hotel is an absolute gem in Costa Rica. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel genuinely welcome—friendly, attentive, and always happy to accommodate any request with a smile. Their hospitality alone sets this place apart.

「Although this place is very basic, with essebtially no electricity or service and we werent able to complete the second half pf our rafting due to heavy rains, wr loved this place. It was exactly what we expected. We stayed two nights, and brought snacks and just took in nature. The two waterfalls we were taken to were awesome,. Especially day 2. So many beautiful bird's. Bring a Headlamp, bug spray and a deck of cards or a book!」
