"It was quite an experience to stay in a traditional Japanese hotel ( more like a B&B). Even the host speaks no fluent English,the communication works fine. We have spacious rooms in 2nd floor over look the channel. Supposed a smoking room but we didn’t get any lingering cigarette smell. Since it is an onsen town, we didn’t visit the shower room in downstairs at all but do onsen hopping . Service is proper and in room breakfast is very nice.
