"Last night we had the pleasure of staying at the Hotel Goldener Stern. The room was freshly and modernly furnished, and the digital access made everything more convenient. Located in the heart of Lucerne's old town, the hotel was an ideal base for our explorations. Overall, our stay provided a cozy and pleasant experience in this charming hotel!"

"It’s quite the uphill walk to get here but the views were worth it. Facilities were clean, rooms are on the small side and hotels in a suburban and quiet area. Service was good and gave an overview of sights in town and the bus service. Dinner at the restaurant was excellent - reasonably priced (compared to area and country), great quality and excellent portion sizes. Loved the “game” menu with local dishes. "

"We loved the area the hotel was in. It was so close to the river and so many beautiful buildings and amazing restaurants and cafes. The pool was also a highlight, very clean and well maintained. The rooms were clean and spacious, and we especially loved the window seats and double windows!"

"Most terrible is the lady receptionist “Sara”. She has no etiquettes of customer service. She doesn’t know how to nicely deal with guests. She actually shouts rather than to speak gently with grace, she isn’t fit for this kind of job. Hostel is not at a good location, no public transport from hostel. Small rooms etc. I’ll not recommend it. "
