“Avoid Sakthi Holidays Inn if you are a foreigner I had a frustrating experience with Sakthi Holidays Inn and Expedia.at that every non-Indian traveler should be aware of. I booked and prepaid a Deluxe Room at Sakthi Holidays Inn via Expedia.de. Upon arrival, the hotel denied our stay, claiming they had no record of our reservation, despite me showing them confirmation of booking and invoice. Turns out, Sakthi Holidays Inn had lost its license to accommodate foreign guests due to immigration……

“We arrived at Andaman Castle on the recommendation of friends and booked a delux room. Firstly we were told we had no booking, then we were told that he had not booked the half board. We were shown to our room when this was sorted , it smelled dirty and damp and had blood on the pillows, the cleaner insisted it was fine-and it was only nail polish!! They told us there was nothing else available, but when we insisted they changed room-not much better but it had a patio door to open and air out……

“Very pretty spot , well looked after by staff. Room very clean, and restaurant served good food. The beach is 5 mins walk away. Nice verandah to sit out on with cane furniture. Only thing we think could improve is the bed was very hard, and more pillows would be nice. ”
