“The cabin was lovely, quaint and clean with a gorgeous view. Extra bonus it is surrounded by sheep! Cabin was well equipped with everything you need. Only complaint was the pillows could use an update, but that is a personal preference. If you are looking for a beautiful view, quiet and quaint location this is it. Also super close to Portree, only a 10 minutes drive away.”

“Dale and Fiona were lovely. The house was neat and clean, great amenities. Breakfast brought up for us every morning was delicious, and they even did some washing for us. 10/10!!!!!”

“The property was clean and as expected for a 3 star. Unfortunately we could not communicate with the host the day before checkin and the day of checkin. We escalated the day before with Expedia because the phone numbers did not work. The cell provided on checkin instructions rung someone in UK, he had no clue what I was asking. The land line number never answered. We also sent an email morning of checkin to Sykes cottages, no response. I sent a message using the contact property feature……

“Lovely cosy cottage called “The Wee Cottage”. It was not so “wee” and was exactly as described with a direct view on the harbour. Perfect spot to do our Skye tour and then conveniently leave east the next morning!”

“Lovely views from house. Walks from the door. Cosy and comfortable with great log burner. Well equipped kitchen including more than usually get in self-catering. No working oven but hopefully will be fixed. Would go again.”

“I was doing the NC500 as a solo traveller and stayed here as the last stop. The rooms themselves were clean, but keep in mind that there are no towels or quilt in the room. As someone who was travelling light, this meant using my t shirt as a makeshift quilt. I would’ve actually got some sleep with this setup, if it wasn’t for another guest snoring next door through the night. Of course, this isn’t the bunkhouse’s fault, but just note that the walls are very thin, and earplugs do help a bit but……

“This was a lovely tucked away accommodation. Very clean and organised. It had absolutely everything you could think of that you might need during your stay, the kitchen was well stocked with all utensils, pans and crockery etc. Lovely welcome from the hosts including a generous welcome basket to get us started and some milk in the fridge. It was lovely and peaceful in a great location for exploring the highlands. A great size property as well. Perfect for two of us with room to spare. We would……
