“We had to book another apartment as the host told us that they did not have a key to the apartment that we booked. We could not find the owner anywhere, the phone was going to voicemail, my messages were going through on WhatsApp but they were not responding. We had to pay more money to book another place because the one we booked, no one could assist us and our safety was also compromised as it was getting late. We need a voucher refund ASAP!”

“There's black mold all over the shower wall, in the kitchen above the cupboard as well, and a bit starting to grow on the ceiling above the bed. The lady working there was very friendly though. The place is quite outdated. I didn’t care about much I just wanted to shower and rest after a long flight but due to the black mold all over the bathroom I was too uncomfortable to shower.”

“BEEARE! This property is not what is advertised! The photos are fake, it is a 1 bedroom apartment, & it is located in a dangerous trash-strewn downtown area of Johannesburg. The owner gave us entry info at the very last minute & only after I contacted them, the directions were very confusing, & it became apparent the whole booking was a scam.
