Hmm

There's black mold all over the shower wall, in the kitchen above the cupboard as well, and a bit starting to grow on the ceiling above the bed. The lady working there was very friendly though. The place is quite outdated. I didn’t care about much I just wanted to shower and rest after a long flight but due to the black mold all over the bathroom I was too uncomfortable to shower.

Gold Reef Place review

Cozy and comfortable place. Easily accessible. Three issues to improve on: 1. Despite the fact that I had booked 3 weeks earlier, the housekeeper did not have my confirmation. Although it was eventually sorted, it leaves one to wonder. 2. Wi-Fi was only accessible in the main house and not in the rooms 3. Dstv was not accessible. I had to watch crucial World cup games on my phone.

Correct au bon rapports qualité/prix.

Séjour réalisé en famille dans une chambre (N° 1) pour deux adultes + deux enfants.Guest house située à 1Km600 (3 min de voiture) de GOLD REEF CITY (Parc d'attraction, visite de mine d'or, casinos-Restaurants, Musée de l'Apartheid, parkings sécurisé au casino pour 20 Rands (Environ 1,30 euro) par entrée et bureau et arrêt de bus city sightseeing pour visite de la ville + SOWETO). Possibilité de garer sa voiture à l'intérieur du terrain sécurisé de la maison ce qui est important à JOHANNESBOURG. Ensemble correct, chambre un peu vieillote mais propre. Cuisine (Ustensiles, couverts, plaques, frigo) disponible sur place. En revanche le petit-déjeuner n'est pas inclus contrairement à ce qui est indiqué sur le site d' hotels.com. Seul thé et café à disposition.

Best place for Soweto Marathon / FNB Stadium

I stayed at the guest house on the weekend of Soweto Marathon. From the time I booked until my checkin the owner answered all my questions. The area is clean & safe and also close to the popular Gold reef theme & casino. The room was clean and well maintained. Breakfast was homely and we enjoyed it so much. A day before the marathon we received nutritious food parcels since we were going to leave for the marathon at 4:00 AM. Finally the owner allowed us to take a quick shower after the marathon. I highly recommend this place for those participating in Soweto Marathon or watching a match at FNB Stadium. It is an excellent value for money. Also there's loads of entertainment just around the corner.
