「I only have one small complaint about our stay at Dancing Bear Lodge - the mattress needs replacing (it felt like falling in a hole). Everything else was wonderful - clean, comfortable, welcoming, attractive. Loved welcome basket and lots of towels. Setting is lovely and nice comp'd breakfast at Apple Valley Cafe. Would gladly stay here again.」

「We visited for Mother's Day weekend and everyone had a great time! It is an old historic boarding house that was converted into a historic inn. The inn has so much character and history, and came with a delicious homemade breakfast. It's in reasoning distraught to downtown and many attractions. We will definitely stay again! 」

「Location is hard to find in dark, but loved it. Very peaceful except for neighbors barking hound dogs. Truly enjoyed staying there. 6-10 miles for food or groceries. Scenic ride or drive to get there. 」

「The cabin is an apartment. Like 10 guest to a cabin. Had a hard time parking because of all the construction lumber piled up in the parking lot. Also no electrical outlets in the bathroom. ☹️」

「The Inn was very quaint and homey. Toni was very welcoming and the food was excellent! Our room was decorated very authentic, however, the room and the attached bath were very small. Loved the location as it was very quiet and had many spots to sit and enjoy nature, including the rooster, and it's just a few minutes from town. I highly recommend the Folkestone Inn.」
