In town for a marathon so the location was great. Beds are good, but a little stiff for my liking. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is minimal and only opens at 8:00.
This is an absolutely gorgeous Inn where you can relax and enjoy the scenery all around. The staff and owners are wonderful people that take care of every need.
Our room was clean when we arrived and cleaned daily during our stay. The beds were very comfortable . The only improvement could have been a brighter light over the sink. I would totally recommend staying here.
We had a wonderful time in Townsend and the hotel was great! Our room was clean and smelled great. The hotel in general was well maintained. The staff were great and very helpful! We hope to see you again for the 2027 Smoky Mountain Scottish Festival and Games!
Easy check-in/check-out. Large quiet room. Very clean, comfortable bed. Easy access to property. Each room has its own entrance, and parking was easy, right in front of the room. Breakfast is offered, but we chose not to take advantage of it, so we can't speak to it.
Everything was great for our short one night stay. Every thing was very clean and the lady in the office was super nice. Breakfast was very small with few options but fine for a quick bite before hitting the road.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
Clean room, amenities were great, staff was so amazing as always. Love this place!!
This hotel was recommended to us by someone that works there. My son and I took up the chance to check it out.
We had a very pleasant experience overall. Rooms and grounds were clean, temperature of the room was just right walking in. The beds were comfortable which is always the make or break of any hotel. Pool area was roomy although I didn't get in. In the morning, I saw that the grounds were quite nice. They clearly pay attention to a lot of little things here. It has a nice charm to it. The back entrance is very helpful for those us in lower riding cars so good to check that out on the map.
And how refreshing it is to see the Word of God shared in the room and general area! Definitely noted.
There was two minor things that I would tweak. 1) the bath floor. Tile was fine and clean, just very dated. I think changing that alone would remove the thought of dated as the rest of the property really felt more like a mountain inn which it is!
2) If you arrive at night from the north, just be aware the driveway is kind of hidden by a big tree so hard to see. Some lights there would be great to mark it. From the south, you'll see it no problem.
Lastly, the ladies at the front desk were very kind. Pleasant vibe here that is in character with the location. And a very welcome change from the chain hotels that while nice can be somewhat 'meh'.
Charm and character appreciated and definitely recommended!
This place was so wonderful! It's in a great location to Cades Cove, nature trails, locally owned restaurants and more. I stayed here with my parents when I was a teenager and it was really great to come back with my own family.
