“Staff was absolutely great. Food was as well. I stayed here for 5 nights but traveled 1800 kilometers around Ireland looking at property for my new home with Dooley’s as home base each night as it’s centrally located. It was perfect and I would stay there anytime.”

By far the most disappointing hotel stay of our Ireland trip. Room was visibly worn and poorly maintained. Multiple visible stains on bedding, bed area and upholstered furniture (see photos). “This is an excellent location, about 15-20 minutes outside of Galway. The room was clean, included two twins and was comfortable. We were on the top floor which was up two flights of stairs, only annoying when bringing the luggage in. There was parking for about 6-8 vehicles in the back, we didn't have trouble finding a space but the lot was full each morning. Breakfast started at 8:30am which wasn't an issue for us but was later than we expected. You order off the menu at the restaurant and it……

“I wanted ground floor unit due to 2 people having mobility issues. sent property a request for this with no reply. arrived to be told on 2nd level with stairs as the only access. asked if we could change to ground level & told no sorry. This made our stay difficult for the ones navigating the stairs with their mobility issues ”
