"Clean and quiet"

"This is a perfectly nice 2-3 star hotel that is cheerfully well maintained. The reason I give it only a few stars is that it is close to the train tracks so you can hear trains go by and the rooms on one side of the hall have windows that look at a wall so there is just a little daylight but nothing to see. It also has no restaurant so if you want more than a small bun and cup of coffee from the small lobby counter, you need to find breakfast. The rooms do have small fridges so you can bring in food. Otherwise, it’s a good bargain for Tokyo in a very convenient location with plenty of places to eat over in Nippori, next train stop away on the Yamanote line but also only a 10 minute walk."

"Pros: superb Asakusa location, city bus 42 stops outside doors! Senso-ji temple and sumida riverwalk during Sakura were perfect! Staff very friendly and attentive. Liked the lounge area upstairs but balcony not open which would have been nice to enjoy. Cons: smallest bathroom yet (like a camper size), no view or proper ventilation (window did open up a crack and room had fan system no a/c), buffet breakfast ok but not great as hot beverage machine usually broken down. 2 laundry machines for whole building is not enough and they’re not free to use. No public bath or fitness facilities."

"The room is very clean. Staffs can speak English and explains everything upon check in. They show you how to use the elevators and where the other amenities are that you can grab for free as much as you like. The location is 3 minute walk from the South Gate of the station and so many restaurants around. There are also Lawson, mini-stop and other conbini stores just less than a minute walk outside. There’s a cafe and Indian restaurant at the first floor/lobby. The building is next to firefighters HQ but never heard any loud sirens at night while there. It’s relatively quiet and peaceful."
