“There was a problem on Friday night.6/19. There was extremely loud music coming from a building down the street from the hotel. The noise was so loud that even my ear phones did not dull the music much. I could not sleep all evening.”

Things are peeling and cracked and missing knobs, attachments, shampoo bottles should’ve been attached to the wall, but it had fallen off and still hit the attachments on them and were in the tub. It was fine, but I’ll be trying somewhere else next time.”

“The hotel (Mount Vernon Hotel and Event Center - no longer exists under this name) has changed management and did not allow us to stay. They said they could see our reservation and were willing to cancel it, but it was booked under a previous management and they did not allow any pets, so we could not stay with our dog. They said they credited out account, but I am still being charged the full amount by Expedia and it is, so far, very difficult to contact Expedia for a credit. We ended up……

“The owner canceled on us one hour before we were supposed to be there. The house was flea infested. We did get a full refund. But I had to book a hotel at short notice and nobody from hotels.com or the person that I rented from felt obligated to compensate the difference of the hotel room I had to book instead of the house I had set up rent. I spent many hours on the phone because I had to cancel through hotels.com and the company called Evolve. The people I talk to at evolve felt they were not……
