We expected from the two star rating that it would be basic but all the fixtures and fittings were of a good quality and generally it was a pleasure to stay here. “Sligo was such a quiet and charming place. We enjoyed our time there. We stayed in Riverside Hotel for 1 night, the very spacious room, nice staff and delicious food gave us very good impression. The room was just face the river, which had amazing view. After checking out for days, we met some unhappy misunderstanding with the hotel, but finally the hotel management dealt with it effectively.”

“I was surprised by a very large room! I can't stay in a room like this! While saying that, I took several photos. I was happy that there was a bathtub and an electric kettle. But I wanted a refrigerator. The parking lot was large and I was able to park with peace of mind. When setting the navigation system, I think it's better to set the parking lot behind the hotel. In addition to restaurants around the hotel, there are also tourist attractions, which was good for a walk. Restaurant until……

“Staff was great, very accommodating, helpful, and friendly. Went out of their way a couple of times to help us out when we needed help.”

“Loved this stay. Affordable, clean, quiet. It’s a bit far for a direct walk to downtown but there’s a bus stop right nearby, and we didn’t mind getting the extra walking in so mad the walk multiple times anyways. The campus is gorgeous, you can walk by the River and get a nice view of a castle. Campus wasn’t busy at all. Highly recommend if you’re in the area looking for somewhere affordable. I’ll probably be staying here whenever I’m in the city in the future.”

“Had a great two night stay here - conveniently located to the south of town centre, but easy to find and ample parking. Room was really comfortable, and clean/modern bathroom. Could be a bit noisy in the corridor. Breakfast was a buffet, but offered a good range of hot items. Front desk staff were really friendly and helpful. I'd certainly stay here again.”
