"Pousada Pier do Pontal was a perfect choice for me as a woman traveling by myself. It is charming, clean, and the staff were wonderful. It was only a $2 Uber ride from the airport. It is right on the water with a beautiful view. I will return should I pass through the area again!"

"The host Adrian was excellent and made my check in very easy, especially because I speak very little Portuguese. The door locks are old and stick so thought I was was locked in the bathroom a few times."

"A estadia na Pousada Borboleta foi incrível! Os funcionários são muito simpáticos e nos ajudaram sempre que precisamos. Patrícia foi muito gentil e simpática. Há gatinhos fofos que ficam na entrada da pousada. São lindos! A pousada fica próxima à terceira praia, com acesso aos melhores restaurantes e ao centro de Morro de São Paulo. A limpeza do quarto foi impecável e o café da manhã era bom."

"Kindness of staff"

"All the sheets and bath towels were stained. The floors were a bit dirty as well even after being cleaned. I would have rated 3 maybe even 4 stars if it was well cleaned. I gave it 2 stars mostly because it was extremely noisy. Starting at 5am with drunk guests arriving and then at 7am a family making excessive noise."
