“Wonderful downtown location to walk to all of the best restaurants, coffee places, shops, art galleries, etc. The pool looked amazing but was always full, so I did not get to experience it however, at the pool is a bar and some tables looking over the Blue Ridge Mountains, which was such a delightful way to relax with my husband and have a good time! The staff was hospitable and helpful and the room was unique and had a wonderful view! I could not have picked a better place for our vacation and……

“The staff was very welcoming. The location is great! Close to some excellent restaurants and places of interest. It was unfortunate that the onsite restaurant was closed. The fireplace was inoperable due to a seasonal schedule. The staff did bring an extra blanket to compensate for the cold room. Both my husband and I stepped on a carpet tack between the bedroom and the hall. The carpet was frayed and didn't quite go all the way to the edge.”

“We stayed at a nearby competitor two weeks prior and it was nice for what it was. The holiday inn was a convenience location for our purpose and the price was good but it appears to be a much older property than the other. I appreciated being asked for my vehicle details because the other hotel called rooms at 5 am trying to find the owner of a vehicle. I was on the 4th floor which felt like a sauna as soon as I got off the elevator. I don’t believe I paid, or asked, for Mountain View but got it……
