“Such an historic beautiful old hotel in Solvorn, Norway for our last stay before leaving the country.
We just so happened to arrive the evening of the biggest storm in the last 25 years and our room was right in front of the ferry/dock to see all the action. As we arrived later in the day we were too exhausted to dine there so they brought us nice sandwiches and champagne upon arrival too.”

“This is an absolutely stunning B&B down to every detail. The owners and staff were helpful and it’s a perfect location if you want to take the ferry to the Urnes Stave Church(the oldest of the remaining Stave churches) which is beautiful and well worth the trip. Breakfast was great too. The downsides are: 1) sharing bathrooms; 2) tiny rooms; and 3) no close restaurants for dinner so eat first in the neighboring town.”
