"Stayed in Studio with Sauna. The room was spacious enough for solo traveler, and a small kitchen was available which was good. Sauna worked well. But the building was quite old, and the bedroom was a bit cold when sleeping. Looked not very clean, and there was some uncomfortable smell at shower room. "

"The property has everything you need for 2 people, it would be very cramped with anymore than 2 adults and 1 small child, the kitchen is very well equipped. Beds are comfy, it’s warm and clean and the sauna is lovely. What they failed to tell us is that Saturdays is ‘change over day’ which meant we had to move apartments after our first night not giving us even 24 hours in 1 apartment, it caused us to loose a days skiing due to waiting around for a phone call to Inform us that the new apartment...

"The hotel is new and very typical. We had a wilderness room which was spacious, comfortable, clean and warm. However the bathroom, although new, seemed basic. I would appreciate a screen between shower and toilet, lack of screen means the toilet gets wet. The cleaning of the room is every other day. However we stayed three nights and the room was never made. I think to ask 25 euros for a WhatsApp message for the aurora alert is ridiculous, it should be complimentary. Food choice is reasonable...

"Very good value for money.Located in village centre. Big clean basic rooms. Stunning surroundings: walking trails , sky tracks, bicycle, snowshoe rentals. Bus stop just outside the hotel. Sauna on site. Various breakfast buffet, good selection of food. Friendly and polite staff at reception. Thanks a lot:)"

"We had an amazing stay. The staff is extremely friendly! Our car got stuck in the snow and we needed assistance getting it out. The front desk agent in the evening called a taxi for us and called us back to make sure that the taxi had arrived. The next morning the front desk agent Santeri took care of everything for us, arranging for a Polaris to help get our car out, calling us a taxi and keeping us informed along the way. "The facilities are new and very clean. Place is cozy. Check in was not easy. You must have a car to go from the place where you pick up the keys to the room. We got there late at night and picked up the keys in a green box in a parking lot. We got lost while looking for the room, road and access to the building were not clear, there was at least one foot of snow. Definitely not a walkable distance to do with luggage, children or seniors."

The cabin is perfectly located in the centre of Saariselka next to the Holiday Club Resort (where all of our booked excursions picked up from) and by the bus stop for the airport bus. "The cabin/apartment was ok for two but for three/ four the lounge bed was very uncomfortable and kept collapsing. There were no basics like salt , pepper oil , but on the whole it was clean warm and convenient with a 10 min walk to centre. "

We did not use the hot tub, but found the sauna delightful, clean, and plenty hot! The room was functional, clean, and had a small fridge and a kettle for heating water. We had to trek through the snow up the unplowed driveway to find that no one was there, no sign on the door, no prior notification of closing. Our trip was pre-booked 6 months beforehand. Luckily we were able to get our payment refunded through Hotels.com and find a nearby hotel. "
