“Great location with nice view of and access to the lake.”

“the staff were incredibly helpful, accommodating and generous. The views at this Lodge were some of the best I have seen in all my travels. I can't recommend staying here enough. ”

“My stay at Gorilla Valley Lodge was wonderful. The staff was incredibly kind and accommodating, and the gardens and properties are beautiful with views overlooking the forest (including the mountain where we did our gorilla trek!). The restaurant area sits atop a hill overlooking a valley with 360 views of the mountains and scenery. The entire property is very peaceful and the restaurant served a three-course meal every evening. The rooms were clean with little welcoming touches when we arrived.……

“booked last minute . this threw them . seem to find it confusing that a solo traveller books last minute. problems again with expedia . have to prove i have paid . they doubt it . . much fuss about ordering breakfast night before . very disorganised . wait staff totally uninterested in their job . have to ask for glass , plate etc . cottage nice and great view . but shower cold even if left running 20 mins before . over priced ”

“The staff are super accommodating and lovely, all the food served, dinner, breakfast and the packed lunches are yum as. Room and bed were spacious and comfy. Highly recommend to anyone doing gorilla trekking at Buhoma.”

“Just the most friendly and helpful staff you'll get in the area and the food is of higher quality than it's direct competitor (WHI) in the immediate vicinity”

“ Personnel pas tres sympa par rapport au reste du pays. Sur leur gsm et devant la télé Une salle de bain sans eau chaude électricité et pommeau douche cassé Forte musique le soir Chambres ok et bel environment 2x plus cher sur le site que sur place!”

“The bungalow was nice, spacious, especially the terrace overlooking the mountain forest was beautiful. The food was good and we also appreciated a good bottle of wine with dinner. It also has the advantage of being just minutes from the main gate to the national park (Rushaga Gate). The place is harder to find though, more signage would be appreciated. ”

“A lovely place with spacious rooms in very close proximity to Queen Elizabeth Park. Staff were also helpful and very friendly. Rooms are secluded with their own verandahs.”

“Très bon hébergement. Le seul point négatif est le réglage de la douche. Trop chaud, trop froid. Très difficile à ajuster!”
