“The realtor office was very organized and friendly. The on line pictures do give this unit a bigger feel. The furniture was well used but over all for a pet friendly unit it worked. Definitely needs a deep cleaning, the coffee pot and stove felt of grease and it was quite odd to have unit owner items in the fridge. ”

“The upstairs heat did not work when I brought it to attention nothing was done about it. The house is very cold the heating is not adequate. There were dirty wine glasses in the cabinet. They were covered in red wine and lip stick. There was not enough hot water for one person to take a 5 minute shower. The house was clean and in a quiet neighborhood would be great for summertime. ”

“Was just 2 of us, but amazing, homey cabin closer to Meyers. Would definitely stay again. Owner is an awesome communicator. Comfy beds, comfy couches, pool table and ping pong!”

“Silver Lake is a beautiful location and having cabins to rent on the lake side is pretty special. The cabins are old and rather quirky, but you can over look some inconveniences, like luke warm water, missing chairs for dining, no plugs in the sinks and even a mouse in your room. But when we checked in they charge me for the room even though I had paid for it . I had to find my credit card bill to show I had paid for the room. Once I showed them my credit card statement they refunded the money……

“We had a wonderful time at Shining Shire! We chose it for its closeness to Lake Tahoe, pet-friendliness, and space for family. It didn’t disappoint! Besides the basics, we enjoyed the gourmet kitchen, downstairs home theatre, and the sauna. They even had a large pet bed ready for our dog.”
