"The cabin was an excellent calming retreat listening to only the sounds of the birds and nature. The steps up to the cabins can be a bit steep (up to 30cm/ 12 inches) but assuming you are there to hike Park Tayrona it's a good warm up for the trails in the park. Breakfast and dinners were excellent and Kevin our front desk person, arranged an early breakfast so we could get to the hikes at break of dawn. Kevin also gave us a map outlining the hike options, distance of each hike and horse back...

"This is truly an absolutely unique and unreal place to stay. Our only regret was not staying longer. The pods are stunning and very comfortable with all little detail very well thought of. The owners are fantastic, very accommodating and hospitable. And we also loved the dogs. The views are incredible and we enjoyed sitting out on the deck with the sounds of howler monkeys in the backdrop. The meals provided were very tasty. "The property was flooded by the river in December. They are remaking all the gardens. The front desk people are terrible. They dont have information and are the opposite of a client service. The food is wonderful. It is an eco-hotel without running water in the toilets but that is part of the philosophy. Tryed to pay with the credit card online so I did not have to pay a surcharge, but the front desk had not updated the system so it could not be done and had to pay a surcharge."

"This place is a gem high in the mountains. Rooms are well maintained and have hot water. The staff was kind and helpful. Its a ways put of town but if your looking for some relaxation and amazing bird watching this is the place. "
