"I’ve booked a suite room for family of 5 (2 children), but was told I needed to get another room as there’s only 1 double & 1 single bed in the room. This is the first time I’ve encountered such experience."

"The building is old. The shower was broken and the toilet seat is loose. The building is in desparate need of attention, but i guess with little to no tourists visitng the country, it makes it dificult to invest in repairs and updates. The staff are great. They are polite and courteous. There really is nothing around the area. You'll have to cab or use grab app to get anywhere. "We had several rooms to accommodate the 8 of us. Only the corner room (2 double beds) seems to have any view, the others face a wall. Pros: Good value. New building (Oct 2019). Very very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms, bathroom, towels, sheets were all nice and clean. Owner was friendly and helpful and accommodating, helped with transportation to train station, and even made some special sweet sticky coconut rice for breakfast and got us samosa. "Nice hotel with big spacious room good breakfast options and wonderful staff. Mandalay is a big city so location was okay close to the palace. If you need to get more around there are plenty of TUKTUK’s. Booked 4 nights and had a wonderful time."
