"The hotel was going through some renovations and was not 100% complete. However the room we stayed in was clean, the staff were friendly and we muddled through my bad French and the restaurant was to a great standard, taking dietary needs into consideration. "

"Only stayed one night - arrived very late and left early the next morning. Friendly staff greeted us on arrival, the room was clean and breakfast buffet was outstanding! Conveniently located near the incredible Caen Memorial Museum and the Caen airport. "

"Great location, friendly staff, spacious comfy rooms and a car park just feet away. It was ideal of a one night stop over for us but would also be a good centre for a few days. Restaurants just a short walk away and a nice breakfast. Would have preferred non machine coffee but it was still good."

"We used the Brit hotel as a base for our trip to Normandy. It’s in a good location for visiting all the historical sites. We stayed in the family room and there was plenty of room for us all (2 adults and 2 teenage boys). A kettle and a few coffee sachets were provided but no cups and milk. However, there was a small supermarket 2 mins away so we purchased cups/milk from there. We didn’t eat at the hotel. So I can not comment on the food. Breakfast was €14 each so again we purchased croissants,...

"Very impressed with the service, the staff and the ambience of the hotel. Breakfast was great and included in the price. Room was comfortable, spacious and warm. Bar/breakfast area is lovely. The restaurant is closed at weekends which was disappointing so we bought pizzas from the take away machine next door and sat in the hotel's social area with a few beers! Our dog was made mist welcome too!!"

"We stayed at the Kyriad to be near family in Dives-sur-Mer. I was excited by all the facilities on offer at this hotel (check opening times). The studio room was well equipped with fridge, microwave and for a fee of 10€, a sink with hob. We both slept well in the temperature controlled room. I enjoyed the waterfall shower. Note: To operate push the ring upwards. With close proximity to Lidl(for shopping), Dive, Cabourg for entertainment. Overall a great place to stay. "

"Right next to ferry port so very easy to find. Rooms basic but good enough for 2 people. if you want to watch TV there are no English channels. Breakfast was fine for a continental one and is included in the price. Small charge for secure car parking. However it wasn't that secure as one morning when i was leaving to visit some D day locations we found a migrant in the boot of the car. "The staff were all friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a good variety, the dinner menu was. Little light for choice but the food was good. Room was clean, bathroom felt a bit tired."
