「Everything about the hotel was terrible except for its location. The ordeal of climbing stairs before even approaching the building, the stairs inside the hotel, the stairs within the hotel itself. The air conditioning broke down the first night; it was freezing cold and I got sick. There were no windows in the room! I wanted to change rooms, but they wouldn't even talk to me. It's not a place that helps solve problems. Never again.」

「Location is good. Walking to the old town or the underground train is just about 5 min. A good local restaurant is just next to the MTR station. Food is good with reasonable price. However, the hotel is a little bit to find as it is not in the main street and no sign of direction to the hotel.」

「My flight was delayed and the front desk attendant was nice enough to meet me late at night. The room was worth its money. There were small packages of soap and shampoo, which were handy. Sadly, fewer properties have them, but Isaka hotel did. The same front desk attendant agreed to store my suitcase. I have to mention that the suitcase was stored in the lobby and, as there was no formal front desk or luggage room, it just stood openly, likely unattended sometimes. The AC in the room did not...
