「Returned 40 years later from our 1st stay, when it was in its original ocean front location, to this 2025 stay. Classic, historic, dedicated beach access, lovely grounds, lush landscaping and gardens, and a great vibe. Rocking chairs and porch swings harken back to the good ‘ol days. Wonderful breakfasts by Chef Georgia, with eclectic culinary creations. Just love this ‘old woodie’ hotel in the original classic OBX architectural style.」

「This condo was very convenient for a beach stay and had a nice charm to it. The cleanliness of the unit was sub par. Lots of dust throughout the unit and a general musty smell. Multiple registers had clearly visible amounts of Black Mold them and the HVAC unit was dirty and our famiky developed cold like symptoms during our stay which we believe is a result of the mold in the HVAC system (we took pictures). Many dishes and pots and pans were not clean upon arival and the washing machine took 2...
