"Convenient for public transport and the castle was within walking distance. Unfortunately i was given a smoking room which stank like an old ashtray. The room was heavily nicotine stained and even after using freshner it still smelt.the Free breakfast was limited in choice and not topped up, so first in best selection. The staff are friendly and helpful and i will stay here again but i will specify a non smking room."

"Our stay at Toyoko Inn was beyond amazing. The staff was just outstanding, polite, and very helpful. The breakfast is delicious and so convenient. If you are alone or as a couple then definitely worth it to stay here if you are trying not to spend a lot of money on hotel accommodations. It is perfect for people who plan to spend the days out and about and come back to sleep. It is also very close to the main train station. Thank you to all the amazing staff! "

"Hotel location is fantastic for Tateyama Alpine Route - just in front of the train & bus station! Hotel also provides baggage forwarding service for Alpine Route. Staff are very friendly and helpful in providing info on Alpine Route. Has an onsen, rooms are decently sized & clean. Many good restaurants, supermarket, drug store, Daiso all within walking distance. "
