“We wanted a quiet overnight stay in the countryside close enough to the Wivenhoe Dam. Woodlands is in a unique and delightful setting on the top of a hill. You need to have reasonable walking ability to enjoy the gardens. Because it was a Monday night we travelled about 5 kms to the Sundowner Saloon on the Warrego Highway for dinner. This added to our happy experience. ”

“No real views of the vineyard as such. Winery was closed the entirety of our 5 day stay which was 29 dec to 3rd jan so couldnt do a wine tasting - we were not advised that they would be shut the entire time. House was not bad. Beds were comfy and the rooms are big. Wasnt the cleanest though and there were quite a few cockroaches. No gas for the bbq outside and had to be reimbursed for supplying it ourselves. The property itself wasnt very tidy either. Large piles of debris left in plain sight in……

“The cottages are beautiful in every way. Super clean and freshly renovated with stunning views of the grounds. Morning and afternoon brings array of bird life to your deck and a short stroll around the property will bring you into contact with an array of animals from mini cows to goats horses and even chickens and rabbits. The owners are very quick with communication and help with anythingvyou need. Will definitely be returning in the future and recommending to all our friends.....”
