“Not what is expected, my hallway there was multiple rooms bolted shut.”

“Our stay was pleasant though it was a smell in the room the was very bad. The staff was amazing Ms. Stella made sure everything and everyone in our party was ok thanks to the staff!!”

“The check in was fine. Room looked fine. However, when my husband lay on the bed we found the mattress was cracked about a third of the way across. Never seen anything like it. We don’t even know how someone could make the bed like that. Did no one report this cracked bed? Why would they just rent that out? But for sure we would not be able to sleep on that so we requested another room, which was given. That room turned out to be the one we had noticed earlier had an open door. We check the room……

“The room smelled of smoke. There is NO ventilation in the bathroom soo the ceiling had moisture damage. Consequently, the floor leading to the bathroom was very slick which could cause a fall. The breakfast was free for a reason because it was awful. The lobby/dining area was nice but the rooms are in desperate need of updating. Finally, there was a lot of loitering in the parking lot. I didn’t know if they were guest or should I be worried about my car being stolen over night?? The LaQuinta is……

“Room was clean and had comfy beds. We had trouble getting connected to the WiFi but figured it out after a while.”

“This hotel needs a serious upgrade. We reserved a queen “suite” which was literally a queen room, with a sofa bed with a fridge and microwave. I’m still trying to figure out what made it a suite. We had to book another room to accommodate our family. And then there was mold! Quite a few rooms had mold… visible mold throughout. Then there was a leak in the ceiling. Wouldn’t recommend or return.”

“Room and property overall were clean. Breakfast was great - one of the better hotel breakfasts that I've experienced. Wish the pool stayed open a bit later during the summer months. If you get back to the hotel after a long day out, relaxing in the pool or pool side is a plus.”

“Overall, nice place to stay. You’re very close to MSU, restaurants, etc.”
