「This was VERY, VERY comfortable! We brought our family of four for a local convention and were pleasantly surprised with this property. Staff was welcoming and friendly. Grounds were clean and landscaped nicely. All information about the property was explained and we felt welcomed and in the know. 「Das Haus war der Wahnsinn. Ein wunderschönes uriges Ferienhaus am See. Hier konnten wir nach unserem Roadtrip noch zu Ruhe kommen und die Kulisse und Natur genießen. Rehe haben uns besucht und Eichhörnchen. Und die Betten waren super bequem. Das war einer der schönsten Ferienhäuser die wir je gebucht haben. Vielen Dank. 」

「I wouldn’t stay there again」

「Skip and Jane were wonderful hosts! Everything you would expect from a Victorian home bed and breakfast. Lost of history to see and enjoy. The yard and gardens were well groomed, the rooms were very clean. There happened to be a major heat wave when we were visiting and they brought a portable AC unit to our room on the 3rd floor to make sure we were comfortable. Breakfast was beautiful and delicious as well. They were very kind to ask about allergies, sensitivities or diet preferences...

「Dont stay here! The place is nice inside, but if you want to sleep, dont stay here. Train tracks are a block away and blare their horns all night long. There were 3 trains alone from 1-1:30am. I asked to cancel my second night stay and get a refund due to the fact that this noise issue is not disclosed in the posting. The management company, Evolve, has been extremely dismissive and will only give me a refund worth 1/4 of the daily total, even though I gave notice, asked for a refund, and...
