"Fabulous location. None better. The staff were polite and enthusiastically welcoming. Our room was clean and housekeeping made sure it stayed well stocked. There are many facilities available: swimming pool, bicycles, kayaks.as well as a large and lovely deck with beautiful views of the harbor. A perfect place to be."

"The beds were comfortable. The scenery outside our window was not. At first when we checked in, they put us in a room on 1st floor, hallway to get to room had a bad odor of urine & view outside our window was an old building being worked on. I requested a new room. Was moved to second floor. For a suite, I believe it should be ocean view (we had a view of a swamp). :( "

"more than expected. Clean and comfortable. One man at the desk was borderline rude but the rest of the staff were fine. The first night the internet did not work. When told front desk he gave us an attitude. The woman in the afternoon apologized and gave us the number for internet. The phones don’t work for communicating with the hotel. "

"When I visit Providence from NYC, I stay at The Dean exclusively, because it IS an exclusive boutique hotel!! My favorite thing to do on the morning is roll out of my luxurious King suite and come down to the lobby for locally made Knead doughnuts and Bolt Coffee! Having a cafe right in the lobby is quite the amenity. The cafe is open til noon everyday and offers a great workspace with plenty of reading material. The vintage ceramic tile floor offers unique charm of a bygone era. The concierge...

"Very enjoyable. But: I did not get a receipt emailed to me, as promised. And there was no microwave oven in the room, though you can request one, or use a communal one near the dining area. The $8.00 breakfast was worth the price, but I have seen better. Overall, a good stay. The location was very advantageous for me."
