“Have stayed here many times before … this time no popcorn when we arrived (nice little treat)
Bathroom sink would not drain ..told front desk and they offered to have us change rooms but we were already settled .. breakfast was sorely lacking .. only thing that was in
Abundance was crock pot full of gravy … the staff was nice for the most part room was clean .. will be looking at other hotels for stays unless they can get back to the way things were”

“When I checked in I was asked to swipe my card twice, the guy at the check in didn’t seem to know what he was doing. Checked my credit card and I was charged twice for the same room.
Room was clean, gym was great, on site restaurant was awesome with friendly and helpful staff.
Be careful using a credit card here. I asked for a folio when I checked out and told the guy at the desk it looked like I was charged twice, he said it should roll off and he could not give me a folio since I booked……

“The thermastat on the wall didn't work! When we got there the room was 56 degrees and air-conditioner was still on high. I called the front desk and she said she was sorry. It wouldn't adjust. I got up every two hours and changed from AC to Heat. It would go to 80 degrees and then back to 55. They wanted us to buy breakfast for two for $54. We went across the street to Cracker Barrel. Don't plan to go back.”

“The hotel was very nice. I gave it a good rating instead of excellent because we were unable to get the air conditioning to come on. The room was very warm.”

“Property was very clean and beautifully decorated in a farmhouse style. Very cozy and comfortable! Came stocked with everything you would need. We had fun at nearby Aikman Wildlife Adventure in Arcola, Kayaking in Lake Charleston, hiking in Fox Ridge State Park a visit to Amish country in Arthur, IL. The kitchen, living and dining room were very spacious! The bathroom was very tiny so if staying with 4 adults - be prepared for this. Also there was a strange odor right outside the front entry……
