“We booked a one-night experience for ourselves, our two sons and their respective wives at this highly rated facility as part of our vacation. We arrived early for our check-in, so one of three rooms was available which was fine. The rooms were large but had a musty smell when we entered. The bed was comfortable, but most of the amenities are dated. That said, this was meant to be a “lodge”, so our expectations may have been too high. “Room was clean and nice. Giant bathtub was fun. Grounds are beautiful. Lots of fountains everywhere. Staff was helpful and kind. Food was excellent. Hotel pool area is large and enchanting.
Spa is relaxing. Massage was good. Spa pool was tranquil but needed some maintenance. ”
