“We booked a one-night experience for ourselves, our two sons and their respective wives at this highly rated facility as part of our vacation. We arrived early for our check-in, so one of three rooms was available which was fine. The rooms were large but had a musty smell when we entered. The bed was comfortable, but most of the amenities are dated. That said, this was meant to be a “lodge”, so our expectations may have been too high. “Very comfortable place to be. The building is thoughtfully designed, the staff is friendly and professional. Nice restaurant and bar on site. There is a free breakfast option with fresh fruit, yogurt, etc. The location is right downtown, easy walk to a number of restaurants, other businesses and a park. Valet or street parking only. Very nice vibe. We look forward to returning.”

“We were there for 2 nights. We did not have a good meal at all. The first night I had the $48 steak and my husband had the risotto. I asked for medium and it was Cooked well done. My husband’s meal wasn’t cooked all the way. The rice was crunchy. The staff wasn’t very helpful. Once you get your food you never see them again. I didn’t feel comfortable complaining to them because they just looked unhappy. The next night we tried the burgers thinking you can’t mess that up to much. It……
