"This was the cleanest hotel I've ever stayed in! The room was beautiful and comfortable, breakfast was tasty, the location was convenient. My only regret is that I didn't ask if they sold the pajamas they provided there, I absolutely loved them!"

"初めて泊まりました。部屋の雰囲気がややロココ調で家内が気に入りました。緑の回廊、白鳥路を通って兼六園、金沢城公園に気軽に行けるのでコスパがいいです。また、少し汗をかいたら、琥珀色の温泉で疲れがすぐとれました。 近江市場も、東茶屋街も徒歩圏なので立地抜群です。また来たいと家内は言ってました。"

"It's seen better days. Quality of the meals was disappointing. Room was spacious and clean but the property in general is tired and needs upgrading. It's a bit on the outskirts of the main part of Yamashiro Onsen but there's a bus stop across the street if you want to get into town. We took it to get to Yamanaka Onsen and to Kakusenkei Gorge."

"Nice hotel in a convenient location to tourist sites. Large rooms. Staff was helpful in making dinner reservations (a must if you hope to get in anywhere for dinner). Breakfast was a nice spread of Japanese and western. "

"Very disappointing. The food at a ryokan is at least half the value of the experience. I have been to many ryokans from budget to luxury and by far, the food here, was the worst. Tasteless and poorly prepared. Like it came from the fridge to perhaps the microwave in some cases and then to our table. August is not a popular time to visit this area so perhaps the chef was on vacation. The room itself was pleasant. The private outdoor bath was nice. The public bath facilities were fine. They do not...

"An amazing place and experience. We had private indoor and outdoor onsen in the room and used it a few times as it was really convenient. Our hosts for the two nights, Natalie and Mizu, were extremely helpful and friendly. The meals, all in a private room, were excellent and gave us an authentic experience of Japanese breakfast and dinner cuisines. "

"We were put on the second floor in the room next to the kitchen where traffic is heavy to and from the dining area. Would have liked to be offered a different floor for this type experience. Since the check in is in the room, I didn’t have a chance to ask about the floor and setting…"
