“Good stay”

“Stay away from Hyde Beach House. This place feels like a scam. They fail to disclose a $165 cleaning fee until check-in, which is completely unacceptable and misleading. Hidden fees should be disclosed upfront, not after guests arrive. When we questioned the charge, the staff was unhelpful, dismissive, and showed no interest in resolving the issue. Customer service was terrible from start to finish. There are plenty of places in the area that are more honest and transparent with their pricing.……

“Overall, the view from the room wasn't great. I booked a two-night stay in a room with a sea view, but the front desk gave us a room on the third floor. I asked if we could have a higher floor, but they said they didn't have any. So, when I entered the room, I could only see half of the sea view, which wasn't a very good experience. Also, the front desk staff didn't speak much English. My husband is American, and he said their English wasn't good, making communication difficult.”

“Parking was easy and the location was nice. The pool was beautiful. However it wasn’t the cleanest. The pull out bed had multiple stains, the towels had rips and stains, there was a lot of dust and my son was playing with his cars on the floor and ended up being cut on his knee by pieces of glass that were not cleaned up.”

“They play loud fire alarm early in the morning for testing. Rooms or bathroom didn’t have locks.”

“We stayed 7 nights. Our room was spacious and extremely comfortable. The housekeeping staff were very nice and got us everything we asked for. Very happy with our vacation.”

“A few items to note: The TV in the main room was not working. Said the tuner wasn’t hooked up, so we couldn’t watch tv there. We attempted to call to report it. But could ever get through. The floors were extremely dirty. You couldn’t walk bare foot or your feet were filthy and black. Needed additional towels, toilet tissue and trash bags. Again, couldn’t get through on the phone, so we emailed and had towels that evening. We were woken up daily at sunrise due to there only being sheers over……
