"Room furnishings were rather dated -shabby but bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. I notified the front desk about the loud fan motor on heating/ac unit/sounds like a bearing going out; and low battery light on thermostat. Staff was excellent, good customer service skills. I was attending a conference at the Convention Center and I could easily walk back and forth to my room during the daytime conference. "

"Beautiful historic property with great friendly host. Never did get the TV to work. Internet was also very spotty and never did work well. But you are staying in 120 year-old nicely maintained home! And if your room is on the third floor, just know you’re gonna have to hoof it up some steps! I would definitely stay again. One of the more reasonable rates for a room in the entire city also helps! Ideal location just a couple blocks from the center of this very quaint and attractive city."
