San Francisco 555 California Street Hotels

"Check in was quick & efficient. Great amenities from shampoo, conditioner, bath gel - to a Nespresso machine in the room - to an iron+board. My room faced a busy street but the double paned windows muted the noise. The TV had lots of channels. A great weekend hotel at a reasonable price. In the financial district away from downtown - but great for walking (flat) to the Ferry Bldg, Pier 39, Fisherman’s Wharf, the ballpark, Union Square, etc - & if you want the challenge… SF hills. I’d come back & stay again."

"We booked last minute due to needing to be close to UCSF for a family emergency. The two bedroom apartment with kitchen came in handy for our stay. We were close to stores and restaurants as well. The hotel doesn’t have parking but there is a parking lot just across the street that was convenient. It’s less than a mile to UCSF and a quick 5 minute or less Uber ride. Staff were friendly and helpful. They were fully booked for part of our stay so we had to move to a different hotel and couldn’t wait to get back after the weekend. I found this place online but hospital staff also recommended it."

"Unfortunately, we had busy itinerary and arrived late evening for our one night stay. So, we didn’t have enough time to check out everything the hotel had to offer. However, I can say I wish the “Classic” room was bigger. Other than that, we had nice stay."
