“I booked a ocean view room but when I arrived the hotel staff provide me a handicap room on the third floor with no view to the ocean; I complained and the changed me to another room on the same floor with view to the bar and pool ... I had complained and finally got the room I paid for. Also, every single morning out of the 5 days the maintenance crew was banging and using electrical tools - I complained but no solution was offered. The area where they serve breakfast was under maintenance also……

“I loved this hotel! We had the most beautiful floor to ceiling window view of the beach, the favelas and Christ the Redeemer! The hotel was located in a pretty good location a little further from Copacabana and Ipanema but was still a nice neighborhood with Sao Conrado beach right across the street. The amenities at the hotel were great! The breakfast had a lot of options but just was okay. Overall I would book again!”

“Everyone was amazing. For one improvement, I would say that the times to clean the room were a little late for my liking, normally the girl came late morning or early afternoon. “I loved the room view . The breakfast offered was fantastic as well !! As an issue to work on would be the late check out policies . It is said that you pay 50%for a late check out ( until 6pm) which I was willing to do , but even showing the fare published in the hotel site to calculate half of it , they came out with a higher fare in their system and charged me 20% more than I thought I would pay . The lady hotel manager did not have a clear explanation about it , but paying what she said……
